Yash says no to play Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari's epic tale 'Ramayana'? Know the reason for actor's denial
A big breaking is hailing from the land of Bollywood industry that has taken aback the Internet platform once again. As reports states, South's actor, Yash has refused to play the role of 'Ravana' in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming creation of Ramayana under the same name.

The 'Dangal' director, Nitesh Tiwari has decided to bring another Bollywood ensemble on the palette made on the Hindu epic 'Ramayana'. As per the sources, the movie is currently under it's pre-production phase and actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has already been chosen as leading roles of 'Rama' and 'Sita' respectively. Meanwhile, the creators has reached Yash to play for the moving antagonist role of Raavan to which the actor agreed.
Why Yash denied?
However it is the aftermath of the decision which has compelled the actor to deny the intricate character of Nitesh's magnum opus. One of the source infact revealed that "Yash was very keen on doing it. Playing Raavan is convincingly is more challenging to him than playing Rama. Since Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to play Rama, Yash was even more keen to come on aboard." But his fans did not seem to be happy enough with their favorite actor rolling down the character of an epic villain from the Hindu epicology.

According to the sources revelation, Yash's team has advised the actor to take down his decision as his fans wont be happy watching him playing a negative role as Raavan. "Even if it is that of an antagonist as powerful as Raavan," it further stated. While during an early interview, Yash told the paps about his fans and quoted "I have to be very, very careful about my fans sentiments. They are very emotional and tend to over-react when I go against their will."
