Twinkle Khanna pens a special message for father Rajesh Khanna on his 79th birth anniversary
Rajesh Khanna, India's first superstar, turns 79 years old today. Twinkle Khanna, who shares her father's birthday, posted a lovely photo with late actor Rajesh Khanna on this special occasion.
Twinkle Khanna, his daughter, shares the iconic actor's birthday. On the anniversary of her father's birth, the actor-turned-author paid tribute to him on social media with a touching message.

She remembered her father telling her that she was the "best gift" he could have received. In addition, the author stated that December 29 would always be her and her father's day.
Twinkle shared a photo of herself with Rajesh Khanna from her childhood. Twinkle is seen affectionately kissing her father in this old photo. She commented, Along with the shot, I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to participate “He always said I was the best present he could have ever received, as I tumbled feet first into the world on his birthday. A little star looking up at the biggest one in the galaxy. It’s our day together, now and forever.”

Twinkle is currently in the Maldives with her husband Akshay Kumar and daughter Nitara. Wishing on the occasion of wife Twinkle's birthday, Akshay Kumar took to his social media and shared a picture which he captioned as, "With you by my side, even the blues are easy to take in my stride… Happy birthday Tina."

On the birthday eve of Rajesh Khanna, Bollywood producer Nikhil Dwivedi announced a biopic on the legendary actor is in the works. The film will be based on Gautam Chintamani's bestseller, Dark Star: The Loneliness Of Being Rajesh Khanna.
