Vaishali Takkar suicide case: Actor's ex-boyfriend arrested in connection to the case

Vaishali Takkar suicide case: Actress Vaishali Takkar attempted suicide recently and the shocking incident left everyone numb. In the meanwhile, Rahul Navlani, Vaishali Takkar's ex-boyfriend and the principal suspect in the actress' suicide case, was arrested in Indore.

The television actress, best known for her appearances in 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', committed suicide by hanging herself at her Indore home on October 16.

An accused couple, who is also the victim's neighbours, was then arrested by the Madhya Pradesh police. They have been identified as Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha Navlani. Rahul, the main suspect in the Takkar suicide case, has been taken into custody on Wednesday near Indore.

In addition, earlier a reward of Rs 5,000 had already been offered by the police commissioner of Indore for information regarding Rahul Navlani and his wife. In the names of the couple, a lookout circular was also published.

In a statement, Harinarayan Chari Mishra, the police commissioner of Indore, said: "The accused was a neighbour, so he was aware of what was happening and was able to flee. Teams were dispatched to several states, and we even announced a prize. A lookout notice was published. He's being grilled."

Additionally, a suicide note was found at the scene, claiming that her next-door neighbour, businessman Rahul Navlani, had been harassing her.

Vaishali said in his suicide letter that Rahul Navlani had physically and psychologically abused him, with Disha, Rahul's wife, supporting him.
