Actor Arjun Kapoor recently shared a cryptic message on Instagram, sparking more speculation about his relationship with Malaika Arora. This follows denials from Malaika's manager about their alleged breakup.
On Saturday, Arjun posted on Instagram Stories, saying, "We have two choices in life. We can be prisoners of our past or explorers of future possibilities." This cryptic message comes amidst ongoing rumours that the couple, who made their relationship public in 2018, have split.
For several months, there have been rumours online about their breakup, especially since the couple has not been seen together in public for a long time. A source told India Today that, “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other's hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship.”
Just a day before Arjun's post, Malaika shared her cryptic message on Instagram Stories about having the "greatest treasure" in the form of people who love and support her. She wrote, "Good Morning. The greatest treasure on Earth is the people who love and support us. They cannot be bought or replaced, and each of us has only a few of them." Although it was a generic quote, many speculated it was related to the breakup.
Despite the rumours, the couple reportedly plans to maintain respect for each other.
On the professional front, Arjun Kapoor is finishing the shoot for the ‘Meri Patni Ka’ remake with Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar. He is also set to play a villain in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’. Malaika Arora recently appeared in the Netflix film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ alongside Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav. She was previously married to Arbaaz Khan, with whom she has a son named Arhaan Khan.
