The curtains have closed on the dramatic 2024 Lok Sabha elections, and the results are in! This election saw a fascinating mix of celebrities from the entertainment industry stepping into the political arena, bringing their star power to the campaign trail.
Hema Malini, a beloved actress, was re-elected for a third term in the Lok Sabha from Mathura. She secured 5,10,064 votes, defeating her nearest rival, Congress's Mukesh Dhangar, who garnered 2,93,407 votes. Her victory brought immense joy to her fans and family. Her daughter, actress Esha Deol, congratulated her on Instagram with a heartfelt message: "Congratulations mamma (heart emoji) Hat trick."
Arun Govil, famous for playing Lord Ram in the TV series Ramayan, won the Meerut seat in Uttar Pradesh on a BJP ticket. Despite a slow start, he triumphed over Samajwadi Party's Sunita Verma by 10,585 votes.
Actress Kangana Ranaut made a remarkable entry into politics, contesting from her hometown Mandi in Himachal Pradesh on a BJP ticket. She won against Congress's Vikramaditya Singh with a substantial margin of 74,755 votes.

Trinamool Congress's Shatrughan Sinha won from the Asansol constituency in West Bengal. Celebrating her father's win, Sonakshi Sinha thanked the people of Asansol on Instagram. Sinha defeated BJP's Surendrajeet Singh Ahluwalia by 59,564 votes.
Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari won his third consecutive term in the North-East Delhi Lok Sabha seat. He defeated Congress's Kanhaiya Kumar by a notable margin of 1,37,066 votes.
Ravi Kishan, known for his dynamic performances, emerged victorious in Gorakhpur. He won by a margin of 1,03,526 votes, adding another achievement to his career.

Suresh Gopi made history by winning the first seat for BJP in Kerala. He defeated CPI-M's Sunilkumar by a margin of 4,686 votes.
In a surprising turn of events, Smriti Irani, who had famously defeated Rahul Gandhi in 2019, lost to Congress's Kishori Lal Sharma by 1,67,196 votes. Reflecting on her defeat, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts: "Such is life...
