Meanwhile, as the film continues to create buzz on social media and garner attention, some fans have claimed that 'Jawan' is copied from a 1989 Tamil movie titled 'Thaai Naadu.'

For the unversed, in the movie 'Thaai Naadu,' Sathyaraj played a double role, similar to Shah Rukh Khan's portrayal of both a father and a son in 'Jawan.' A user on social media even posted the poster of the 1989 film, suggesting that "Jawan" might have drawn inspiration from it, and referred to "Jawan" as the "Original Tamil Version - 1989."

Reactions To Claims of Jawan Copied

These observations have sparked a debate among fans, with some expressing disappointment, claiming that "Jawan" lacks originality and seems to be a blend of various South Indian films. They argue that Atlee, the director of "Jawan," relied on familiar elements like slow-motion sequences, computer-generated effects, and flashbacks, leaving viewers unsure of the film's true originality.

However, some netizens coming to Atlee's defense argued that he is a more talented director compared to others in the Tamil film industry. Supporters of Atlee believe that he skillfully combines elements from his previous works to create something new and engaging, even if it seems reminiscent of other films.
