It all erupted after Urvashi Rautela claimed, in an interview, that a person she identified as ‘RP’ once waited for her in a hotel lobby. Later, Rishabh Pant seemingly took a jibe at her through his Insta story. However, he deleted the post later. Then Urvashi made a post and took a jibe at 'RP' and said, "Chotu Bhaiyaa should play bat and ball."

She said she was shooting in New Delhi when Mr. RP came to the hotel lobby and expressed the desire of meeting her. After over 10 hours, Urvashi fell asleep and said that she couldn’t attend any calls. She further said that when she woke up she saw 16-17 missed calls and that she felt bad that someone was waiting for her and she couldn’t meet him.

She further said that she told him that they will meet in Mumbai and when they met, a huge drama took place with the paparazzi.
Notably, Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant have had a history with the actor reportedly appearing to claim that she was in a relationship with the cricketer in the past. However, Rishabh denied it and even blocked her on social media. The duo was linked in a romantic angle after being seen together in Mumbai once.
