Who was Abdul Karin Telgi?

The web series is all about the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit-seller born in Khanapur in Karnataka. He was the mastermind of a scam of around Rs 20,000 crore.

What is Scam 2003 The Telgi story?

It was a scam worth Rs 20,000 crore. The film is being adapted from the Hindi book ‘Reporter ki Diary’. The book was authored by journalist Sanjay Singh who broke the scam back.

Abdul Karim Telgi used to earn money by printing counterfeit stamp paper in India. The scam, spread across various states, shook the entire India. He later died on October 23, 2017, after suffering from multiple organ failure in Bengaluru.

Scam 2003 Web Series Cast

Gagan Dev Riar is all set to play Abdul Karin Telgi. Gagan has been roped in for the series. However, there has been no confirmation on the other actors who will feature in the series. The series will be directed by the National award-winning director, Hansal Mehta and Tushar Hiranandani.
