YouTube Premium, Music mints 80 M subscribers across globe
YouTube recently announced that it has more than 80 million Premium and Music subscribers globally. The video streaming service exceeded the 50 million user threshold in September of last year. Given that it attracted more than 30 million new users in a little more than a year, YouTube Premium's rise has been nothing short of remarkable.
Cohen claims that there were other factors at play in the rise of subscriptions.
The business has upgraded "YouTube Premium" with features like afterparties, which provide customers exclusive access to Livestream content and access discounts on the most recent Google products and services.
