2.0 Trailer Launch: Akshay Kumar Speaks In Tamil, Leaves Rajinikanth, Audience Stunned

Bollywood’s action hero Akashay Kumar stunned the southern superstar Rajinikanth when he spoke in Tamil during the trailer launch of the film 2.0 in Chennai on November 3.

Akshay, who started his speech with ‘Vanakkam Chennai…Magizhchi’, got some applause from the audience present at the trailer launch event. Akshya tried his best to avoid any mistake while speaking in the local language.

“I have the speech with me. It is written in Tamil. I am going to try speaking Tamil. I am sorry if my pronunciation is wrong. I have been practising for three hours,” Akshay Kumar said.

Beside, Akshay said that he was honoured to be a part of 2.0 film which features superstar Rajinikanth in the lead.

“I am so honoured to be here. I can't explain my feelings. I can't thank Shankar sir enough for the opportunity. And Subaskaran, big thanks,” said Akshay Kumar at the trailer launch.

“I got to learn lot of challenging things. Shankar is a scientist, not a director. I did make up for 3 hours and I took one hour to remove the makeup. I just saw myself on the screen, and it was unbelievable. I'm looking forward to seeing the film. I thank Shankar sir. It was worth the pain,“ added Akshay.

‘2.0’ has been directed by Shankar, who had also helmed the 2010 hit Enthiran. The film will release on November 29, 2018.
