Akshay Kumar Donates Rs 1 Crore For Odisha Cyclone Victims

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, known for extending a helping hand to those in need, once again came forward to help those got affected with cyclone ‘Fani’ in Odisha. According to the media reports, Akshay has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the Odisha cyclone victims.

"This is not new. Akshay has always been contributing for causes, be it his Bharat ke Veer initiative for the armed forces, or his contribution to the Kerala Floods or Chennai floods earlier," an industry source was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying.

This is not the first time that Akshay has extended his helping hand. Recently, during the Pulwama attack, the Bollywood superstar had donated Rs 15 Lakh to the wife of martyr Jeet Ram Gurjar.

Besides, Akshay Kumar donated Rs 5 Crore through Bharat Ke Veer foundation to the families affected by the Pulwama attack.
