Akshay Kumar says, 'Mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there' as he turns 54 today!

Akshay Kumar is deeply shattered after he lost his mother on September 8th. Today, the actor has turned a year older and as he lost his mother just one day before he remembers his mother and says that he is sure that his mother is singing Happy Birthday for him.

The Bell Bottom actor took to his social media account on September 8th to share that he lost his mother due to illness. the actor also thanked his well wishers for keeping her in their prayers .

Remembering his late mother Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram account to share an adorable picture with his mother late Aruna Bhatia and captioned it as, "Would have never liked it this way but am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there! Thanks to each one of you for your condolences and wishes alike. Life goes on."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar was currently shooting for his upcoming 'Cindrella'. Other than that, the Bell Bottom also has 'Atrangi Re, Raksha bandhan, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj, Sooryavanshi and Ram Setu in his list.
