Amid India-Pakistan Tensions, Diljit Postpones Launch Of His Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds

Pollywood sensation Diljit Dosanjh has postponed the unveiling of his wax statue at the Madame Tussauds Delhi, located in the iconic Regal Building at Connaught Place, owing to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. Diljit Dosanjh’s wax statue was scheduled to be unveiled on February 28.

The singer-turned-actor took to his Twitter handle to share the news with his fans and wrote: “Our soldiers are fighting hard to protect the Nation. We stand by our Soldiers . Amidst the tensions rising across the Nation, have decided to re-schedule the launch of #MadameTussauds WAX Statue.”

Diljit Dosanjh is creating a history as he is the first turbaned celebrity to get his wax statue at Madame Tussauds.  The artiste will join a host of other national and international celebrities at the attraction including Virat Kohli, David Beckham and Sachin Tendulkar.

On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will next be seen in Bollywood film “Arjun Patiala”. In “Arjun Patiala”, Diljit will again be seen playing a role of a police officer. He has earlier stunned movie lovers with his unforgettable role in Police Uniform in Punjabi Superhit movie series “Jatt & Juliet” and Bollywood Flick “Udta Punjab”.
