Did you know? Aamir Khan gifted Gauri Spratt an utra-rare Ruby ring that took 256 hours to craft
Aamir Khan gifted Gauri Spratt an ultra-rare Madagascar ruby wedding ring featuring 40 diamonds and over 256 hours of expert craftsmanship.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt exchanged their vows on July 5 in a private wedding ceremony held at their Mumbai residence. The intimate celebration was attended by close family members, friends, and their children, making the occasion emotional and meaningful. Every detail of the wedding reflected the couple’s preference for simplicity, elegance, and family values.
Rare Ruby Wedding Ring for GauriOne of the biggest highlights of the wedding was Gauri Spratt’s stunning wedding ring. The ring was specially created by Qween and features an ultra-rare natural ruby from Madagascar in a beautiful cabochon cut. The rare gemstone is placed on a gold coronet-inspired setting and is surrounded by 40 natural diamonds, making it a truly unique piece of jewellery.
The creation of the ring was an extraordinary process. It reportedly took three months to source the perfect ruby, as fewer than 0.1% of rubies meet such exceptional quality standards. The jewellery itself required more than 256 hours of detailed craftsmanship and was completed by 131 pairs of skilled hands, highlighting the dedication behind the masterpiece.
Tradition of Meaningful GiftsThis is not the first special jewellery piece Aamir has gifted Gauri. Earlier this year, she was seen wearing a rare aquamarine ring sourced from Brazil, also designed by Qween. That ring featured 40 natural diamonds, showing Aamir’s preference for personalised and meaningful jewellery gifts that celebrate their relationship.
Family Added a Personal TouchThe wedding became even more memorable as the couple involved their children in the ceremony. Aamir’s son, Azad Rao Khan, and Gauri’s son, Quinn, served as the ring bearers. Their participation added warmth and made the intimate wedding even more special for everyone present.
Gauri Spratt’s Elegant Bridal LookFor the ceremony, Gauri Spratt chose a custom outfit by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Instead of wearing a traditional red bridal lehenga, she selected a soft-toned lehenga with delicate white floral embroidery. She completed her look with a sheer dupatta and layered polki jewellery featuring emerald accents.
Her makeup followed a natural "second-skin" style, while her relaxed side-swept bohemian fishtail braid, decorated with tiny white flowers, perfectly matched the elegant and understated theme of the wedding. Together with her rare wedding ring, Gauri’s graceful bridal look became one of the most talked-about highlights of the celebration.
