Arpita Khan, Aayush Sharma Welcome Their Baby Girl ‘Ayat’, Know What It Means

Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan is celebrating his 54^th birthday today! Salman’s sister Arpita Khan and her husband Aayush Sharma have welcomed their second child on his birthday, and it’s a girl!

Arpita was reportedly taken to Mumbai's Hinduja hospital on Thursday night. The family was sure that they want the baby to be delivered on Salman's birthday, which happens to be today.

Arpita and Aayush, who are parents to a baby boy already, have been blessed with their second baby, a girl. They have named their girl as ‘Ayat’.

Going by the internet on what does ‘Ayat’ means, the answer reads “Ayat is a feminine name that comes from an Islamic word which refers to the verses of the Quran. It is used by Muslim parents and is of Arabic origin. It also has the associative meanings of 'miracles' or 'proof' that describe the verses in the Quran.”

The couple shared a statement that reads, "With great joy and immense pleasure, we announce that we have been blessed with a baby girl. On this joyous occasion, we would like to thank our family, friends and all our well-wishers for their unconditional support. We also extended a humble thank you to our media friends and to our fans for their constant love and support. This journey couldn’t have been complete without you all.
