Actor and Mimic Artist Firoz Khan, Famous for 'Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai,' Passes Away
Firoz Khan, an actor and mimic artist known for his role in "Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai" and his impressive impersonations of Amitabh Bachchan, passed away on May 23 due to a heart attack in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. Firoz was a familiar face in Indian television and cinema, having appeared in various popular TV serials and movies.
Firoz's acting career included roles in TV shows such as "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!", "Jija Ji Chhat Par Hain", "Saheb Bibi Aur Boss", "Happu Ki Ultan Paltan", and "Shaktimaan". Additionally, he featured in several films, including a notable appearance in singer Adnan Sami's hit song "Thodi Si Tu Lift Kara De".
Tragically, Firoz suffered a heart attack on Thursday morning, leading to his untimely death. His family has yet to release an official statement, but fans have taken to social media to express their sorrow and condolences. Although he gained significant fame from "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain", Firoz had already made a mark in the entertainment industry with his performances in other major shows.
His last public performance was on May 4 at the Voter Mahotsav at Badaun Club, where he received much appreciation from the audience. Firoz's talent extended beyond acting; he was also well-known for his mimicry skills, especially his imitations of Bollywood legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Shahrukh Khan, Dharmendra, and Sunny Deol. This talent earned him the nickname "Duplicate of Amitabh Bachchan" among fans.
Firoz's passing comes after the death of another "Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai" actor, Deepesh Bhan, who died in 2022 at the age of 41. The loss of Firoz Khan is deeply felt in the entertainment community, and his contributions to television and film will be remembered fondly by his fans and colleagues.
