Actor Sahil Khan Faces Legal Trouble: Sent to Police Custody in Relation To Mahadev Betting App Case

Actor Sahil Khan has found himself in legal trouble as he has been sent to police custody until May 1 in connection with the Mahadev betting app case. This comes after Mumbai's special investigation team (SIT) caught up with him in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, following the dismissal of his bail plea by the Bombay High Court.

Sahil Khan in Legal Trouble

Khan's journey to evade authorities began on April 25 when his anticipatory bail plea was rejected. He embarked on a journey, first escaping Maharashtra and making stops in Goa, Karnataka's Hubballi, and Hyderabad. To avoid detection, Khan went incognito, disguising himself in plain attire and hiding his identity behind a scarf.

Despite his efforts, the police managed to track him down in Hyderabad, prompting Khan to hastily move towards Chhattisgarh. Surprisingly, he chose to traverse through Maoist-prone areas despite warnings from his driver. Known for his roles in films like 'Style' and 'Excuse Me', Khan's attempt to evade capture ultimately failed.
