Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur Starrer 'Gumraah Movie Public Review' is out

Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to entertain his fans with his latest release movie "Gumraah." The movie is directed by Vardhan Ketkar and features Mrunal Thakur alongside Kapur. The movie is released on Friday, April 7. However, the movie has not created much buzz, and as per predictions, it is likely to have a slow start at the box office. The trailer of the movie received mixed reactions from the audience, with some praising the performances of the actors and the intriguing plot, while some found it boring. The year 2023 has been a mixed bag for Bollywood so far, with some movies performing exceptionally well, and some failing miserably. "Gumraah" is a remake of the 2019 Tamil film "Thadam." The movie is a murder mystery that skillfully engages the audience from the opening scene to the end when the mystery is finally solved. The movie revolves around the investigating officer Shivani Mathur (played by Mrunal Thakur), who needs to figure out the real culprit from two doppelganger suspects, Arjun Saigal and Ronnie (both played by Aditya Roy Kapur).

It is crucial to note that the success of "Gumraah" will depend heavily on word of mouth. If the movie manages to impress the audience and critics alike, it may pick up steam in the coming days. However, if it fails to leave a mark, it may fade away quickly, much like some of the other Bollywood releases in 2023.
