Well, here's some thrilling news for you – Ajay Devgn is all set to treat his fans with the sequel, 'Raid 2.' Yes, you heard it right! The exciting announcement brings joy to fans of the 2018 hit as they anticipate another captivating chapter in the 'Raid' series.

The talented actor has joined forces with director Rajkumar Gupta and producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar for this highly anticipated project.

Raid 2 Shoot Begins

The shooting for 'Raid 2 officially kicked off in Mumbai on January 6, and the production is scheduled to cover various locations in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The film is backed by the esteemed team of Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar.

The announcement of the sequel's commencement was made by producer Abhishek Pathak, who shared a poster of the upcoming film. 

Continuing the tradition of shedding light on the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department, 'Raid 2' will once again bring a true case from their files to the silver screen. The first installment captivated audiences with its gripping narrative, and now, with the sequel underway, 'Raid 2' promises even more intensity, double the drama, and heightened suspense.

The initial film was inspired by a real-life income-tax raid in the 1980s on Sardar Inder Singh, setting a record as the longest raid in Indian history, lasting three days and two nights.

As for Ajay Devgn's work front, the actor has 'Maidaan' ready for release and has exciting projects like 'Singham Again' and the romantic drama 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' alongside Tabu in the pipeline.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series banner and Panorama Studios, 'Raid 2' is anticipated to deliver another cinematic spectacle on November 15, 2024.
