Animal Box Office Collection Day 6; Ranbir Kapoor starrer mega action smashes box office numbers as it crosses Rs. 500 crore worldwide!

Ranbir Kapoor is currently ruling the globe. Starring in the year's one of the most anticipated movie, Animal has finally went through it's first weekend and it's box office collection is pretty astonishing just like the audience's reaction the movie is garnering globally. Released on December 1, 2023, Animal has completed it's sixth day on Wednesday in the theatres and crossed Rs. 300 crore in the Indian mainland and Rs. 500 crore worldwide respectively. 

Animal has crossed Rs. 500 crore in just six days of it's release

After finishing off it's sixth day in the theatrical windows, Wednesday seemed quite enthralling for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga movie too. As per the Sacnilk.com, the film has garnered Rs. 30 crore on Wednesday which makes the film's total collection as Rs. 312.96 crore in India. Although, the last marking day in the cinema was the least amount garnered ever since it's release but the 'Animal effect' has to be something that is glazing Ranbir's entire filmography like never before and Rs 30 crore is even larger than most of the film's lifetime collection. On the Other hand, Animal has crossed Rs. 500 crore in the global market, which was just Rs. 425 crore globally until Wednesday. 

Interestingly 'Animal' with it's Rs. 500 crore benchmark is also expected to be Ranbir Kapoor's highest grossing movie to be ever made, that stands right after the 2018 biographical drama 'Sanju' that has a lifetime collection of Rs. 342.53 crore in India and Rs. 586.85 crore worldwide. 

Animal's first 3 day collection

If we look at the first 3 days of Animal's release, the film has done exceptionally well, both in India and overseas market. Released on Friday, 1 December, 2023, the movie has ruled by the end of it's weekend. looking at Animal's box office tsunami by end of it's first Sunday, it has grossed Rs 356 crore worldwide. What is more striking about Animal is that, the film has secured third position in the list of the biggest first weekend opening of Bollywood, beating Padmaavat, just behind Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan and Jawan, released in January and September 2023 respectively.
