Bollywood Glamour Returns to Cannes: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari to Grace French Riviera Again in 2024

When things are discussed about the biggest film festivals, Cannes is one of the most sought-after film festivals globally which is held annually at Cannes City, France giving every upcoming film from the world a platform to be premiered including documentaries. This year too, the French Riviera is coming back with the enthralling festival, 77th edition in the ongoing month that has been slatted to be commence from 14th May to 25th May 2024. Being the globe's biggest film festival, it ropes off attendees from almost every nook and corner of the globally placed film industries and Bollywood is no exception. Among the many Indian dignitaries, actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari give most of the headlines and their return to the French Riviera has been confirmed for this year too.

Over the past many years, both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari have graced prestigious occasions, making a way-through for the Indian cinema in the festival's forefront and their fashion moment were truly to die for. Recently, it has been confirmed that Devdas fame, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been attending the festival from the longest years is all set to make her return to the red carpet which will also include period drama's one and only muse, Aditi Rao Hydari. 

Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai has been attending the prestigious festival ever since the early 2000s and was also a member of the Cannes jury in 2003. In fact her looks on the Cannes red carpet are one of the most sought-after topic during that time of the month as it has successfully made people's jaw dropped with the enthralling fashionable take. Meanwhile, Aditi Rao has made her Cannes debut in 2022 and her looks became some hot sensation too.

Former Miss World, Mrs. Bachchan was last seen on the big screen in the 2023 historical drama,  Ponniyin Selvan: II, directed by Mani Ratnam. Meanwhile, Aditi Rao Hydari recently starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama series - Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar in the pivotal role of a courtesan, Bibbojaan. The slow-burning yet sensational Netflix show also featured other regal actresses of the Bollywood frontline like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal.
