Can Ajay Devgn Bholaa surpass Drishyam 2 box office performance?
Ajay Devgn, popularly known as Bollywood's Singham, is set to release his much-awaited movie "Bholaa", which is a remake of the Tamil film "Kaithi". Earlier, the actor had enthralled his fans with "Drishyam 2", a remake of a Malayalam film of the same name. Just like "Drishyam 2", "Bholaa" has also generated a lot of buzz and all eyes are on its advance booking status.
According to reports, "Bholaa" has received a 'UA' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and has a runtime of 144.49 minutes, with the first half being 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 56 seconds long. The film is scheduled to release on March 30, 2023.
In an interview Ajay mentioned that currently, his main focus is completing the remaining post-production work of the film. He mentioned that he is not certain about when he will start contemplating the release of the film. However, he expressed satisfaction with the outstanding collections that their recent release, Pathaan, achieved both in India and overseas. He further stated that they are hopeful that their upcoming releases will also perform well at the box office. Ajay expressed optimism about Bholaa and is keeping his fingers crossed for its success.
For those who are unaware, "Bholaa" is an official remake of the 2019 Tamil film "Kaithi" directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film promises to be a visual spectacle, with a high-octane bike-truck chase sequence that spans six minutes. Ajay Devgn himself confirmed this in a recent social media post.
