Crew becomes the third best female centric movie at the overseas Box Office; Expected to surpass Gangubai in coming weekend!
Released on 29th March 2024, Crew had been rolling the dice up successfully in the theatres amassing huge support from the audience with its top-notch storyline and presentation. Led by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, the film is currently basking high, not just among Indians but also overseas quite successfully. The female-centric comedy has recently surpassed its fifth weekend internationally grossing USD 300K approx, bringing the film's total earnings to USD 6.45 million.
Meanwhile, in India, the film has earned Rs. 87 crore gross, and looking at the worldwide diaspora, it stands at Rs. 141 crore overall. Furthermore, looking at the current Bollywood scenario, there is no competition and can easily run into closing USD 7 million by the end of this coming weekend. Starring an all-female cast, the stand-alone comedy drama had shown impressive results ever since it's theatrical premiere and still continuing.
Meanwhile, Crew now ranks among the highest-grossing female starrer films internationally with films like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Tanu Weds Manu Returns right ahead of it. Meanwhile, with it's last long run at the theatres, it is expected to even surpass the other two films. As per the reports, it's overseas collection looks like - United States - USD 1,940,000, Canada - USD 1,090,000, Middle East - USD 1,240,000, Australia - USD 670,000, New Zealand - USD 185,000, United Kingdom - USD 750,000, Rest of Europe - USD 250,000, Rest of Asia - USD 225,000, Rest of World - USD 100,000 respectively.
Crew is a Bollywood comedy masala film directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. As stated earlier, it is an all-female-led movie that brings together the three divas of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Apart from the leading ladies, the film also features Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh in some significant roles. As per the film's synopsis, it revolves around three friends aka cabin crews whose life takes a drastic turn after getting caught up in some difficult situation. Meanwhile, it was released on Friday, 29th March, 2024.
