Released in 20 October, 1995, the iconic movie has completed a laddering legacy of 28 years today. Starring Bollywood's favorite on-screen duo, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, the movie was critically acclaimed over the globe for it's evergreen dialogues, screenplay and an impeccable storyline. As the movie is celebrating 28 years of fame and success, it's leading actress Kajol has devoted the film to the fans who made everything possible.

On Friday afternoon, Kajol has taken over her Instagram handle to share her thought and feeling's on it's 28th anniversary. The actress shared a video of her transition from the 1995 movie to her recent avatar of 2023. While sharing the video, she quoted, "Still wearing green but maybe not the same shade.. 28 years later #DDLJ belongs to you guys .. All our fans and people who have made it a legacy that lives on far beyond what we could have ever imagined. Big shoutout to all of you" along with a red heart emoji.

As soon as the movie made it's way to the internet, Fans have taken over the comments section within no time and shared their thoughts of excitement and utter happiness. "My first hindi movie ever. It made me fell in love with you" someone wrote. While another user claimed her evergreen beauty and said "You still have the beauty of 28 years ago". While the third user on the other hand quoted praising the movie, "When ddlj released I was in 10th class ..tabhi decide kr liya tha ki Europe tour to karna hai life me ek bar. After 21 yrs in 2016 I could make it happen and again this yr I travelled there...and it's so beautiful. I relieve the ddlj moments with my husband and kids," it said.
