Raj Kapoor, born in Peshawar to renowned actor Prithviraj Kapoor and Ramsarni Mehra, had a stellar career in the film industry. His contributions earned him numerous accolades, including three National Film Awards and 11 Filmfare Awards, establishing him as the 'Showman of Indian cinema.' Some of his iconic films include 'Shree 420,' 'Aag,' 'Chori Chori,' 'Anari,' 'Sangam,' and 'Mera Naam Joker.'

Switching gears to Dharmendra, the seasoned actor recently celebrated his 88th birthday. Fans can anticipate his appearance in an upcoming untitled romantic drama, sharing the screen with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Additionally, Dharmendra is set to feature in Sriram Raghavan's film 'Ekkis,' co-starring Agastya Nanda, the grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. The film is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025.
