Dia Mirza recalls asking director Rajkumar Hirani for work
Dia Mirza news: Actress Dia Mirza is one of the finest actors in the Bollywood industry. The actor is known for her roles in ‘Thappad’, ‘Salaam Mumbai’, ‘Blackmail’ and many others. The actress is busy promoting her film ‘Bheed’. Recently, she revealed that she asked director Rajkumar Hirani for work.

In an interview, Dia said that when they become actors, they sign a bond of heartache for themselves. Heartache occurs when their films is not understood by the audience. Then, she said heartache occurs when their stories don’t find producers, heartache when the wait becomes too long and still no work approaches the actor. Further, she stated saying that if a movie works, actors believe that it would attract more work for them but it does not happen every time.
The ‘Bheed’ actress recalls the time when she called up filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and asked him to cast her in the movie ‘Sanju’. Then, she said that ‘Sanju’ was oxygen for her and she had needed it. However, she said that the first time she had called her friend to cast her in the movie.
Dia also added saying that she was not getting work and she was in need of work. After hearing this, Rajkumar Hirani took Dia’s screen test and appointed her the role and this was how she became a part of the film.
In addition to this, she said that she had never done anything like this before so she was a bit shy about making calls to friends for work purposes.
