Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga Grateful for 'A Certificate' for Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, Affirms Film's Target Audience

Ever since the announcement of Ranbir Kapoor starrer movie 'Animal', it started serving whopping excitement among the Bollywood fanatics. Speaking in a nutshell, 'Animal' is one of the most anticipated movie of the year. As the movie is all set to be released on 1st December 2023, people are eagerly excited to delve into the world of crime, intense drama and action helmed by the Bollywood's one of the acing director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Just ahead of it's release, the film has received an A(adult only) certificate by CBFC.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga on Animal receiving A-Certificate!

Recently during an interview with a media powerhouse, the helmer sat in an interaction wherein Mr. Vanga spoke unabashedly about the adult certificate. As per the director, he is in-fact glad for the adult recognition as the movie is surely not made for the under 18 audience. Reddy kept his words while speaking, "As far as Animal is concerned, I’d like to say that I am glad it got an A certificate. It is not for anyone under the age of 18. I will not be taking my son Arjun, my brother’s kids or any of my cousin’s children to watch this film in the theatres. Maybe I will have another child-friendly cut of the film for them. I have children in my extended family between eight months and 17 years and this film is not for them." 

Further, the director talked about the commercial perspective of the film. According to him, he can barely predict whether it will garner 800 or 1000 crore at the box office but he is pretty sure of one thing, to which he said - "But I can confidently say that the film will move, titillate and make the audience think."

More About 'Animal' 

Animal is an upcoming action packed thriller written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced under the banners of T-Series and Cine1 Studios. Apart from Brahmashtra fame Ranbir Kapoor, the movie will be made with a boggling budget of Rs. 100 crore which will also star industry fames such as Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, Saurabh Sachdeva and Tripti Dimri. The enthralling looking movie is slatted to release on 1st December 2023.
