Asrani believes that anyone who is outspoken, who refuses to be disrespected, and who doesn’t agree with regressive ideas is pushed into a corner.

Apurva Asrani also discusses the case of Sushant Singh Rajput and how the industry systematically broke him down. According to Asrani, Rajput was disregarded at award shows, his final film was labelled a failure despite performing well, and his statements were portrayed as symptoms of mental illness.
