Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma Raises Alarm Over Alleged Death Threat
Renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) has recently made a startling claim, asserting that Srinivas, the leader of the Amaravathi Conservation Samiti, has supposedly commissioned a contract to harm him. RGV has taken this matter seriously, officially filing a complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP) to address the alleged threat to his life.
In an unexpected twist, political figures Lokesh and Babu have consistently criticized Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. It's important to note that this criticism is not related to a film review but is focused on the TDP's apparent concerns regarding RGV's movie, 'Vyuham.' So far, the TDP has not issued any denial regarding Srinivas's comments.
Expressing genuine concern for his safety, RGV shared, "Even the mere thought of Lokesh and Babu is enough to instill fear in me." RGV emphasizes that there should be no apprehension about the movie 'Vyuham' if no actions are taken against him.
Amidst this controversy, the TDP seems to be countering the allegations with the release of the movie 'Vyuham.' RGV disclosed, "Last night, in a debate, Srinivas openly offered one crore rupees for my head due to publicly threatening me. Today, I have registered a complaint against him with Andhra Pradesh DGP." This development raises concerns about the potential risks faced by individuals expressing their opinions in the public domain.
