Imtiaz Ali comments on Ranbir Kapoor's intriguing personality: Reveals what makes RK a big star!
Imtiaz Ali is one of the finest creators in the Bollywood movie industry. Imtiaz is an Indian movie director, producer, actor, and writer who works in Indian cinema. As a director, he has given some of the greatest Bollywood hits that feel like a legacy more than movies. He and actor Ranbir Kapoor have collaborated twice, that includes, Tamasha and Rockstar, both of which have earned quite a applause from the global audience. Both of their fine wine dedication strikes harder while watching those masterpieces even today, one with his prolific direction and the latter with his A-class acting.
Recently during a renowned podcast episode, Jab We Met maker, Imtiaz Ali opened up about the Tamasha fame Ranbir Kapoor and spoke about the good qualities RK holds which are in fact responsible for making him a great actor. During the talking session, Imtiaz was asked if having empathy makes one a good actor. While emphasizing the same, he said that inherent qualities like empathy and kindness truly help an actor be a true star. Proceeding further, he quipped Ranbir Kapoor's name as his innate interest in other people is a great boon as an actor.
According to Imtiaz Ali, Ranbir Kapoor is more interested in the lives of his fans than his fans are interested in him whenever he meets them anywhere. In fact RK talks to his fans about pretty mundane things like 'From where have you come?', 'Did you catch a bus in the morning?' and 'What did you eat for breakfast?" and whatnot, which eventually helps him in delivering good work in cinema. He invests in people and that is something more than enough for someone to be a great actor.
Meanwhile, the Tamasha director has recently served with a Netflix biopic drama, Amar Singh Chamkila that premiered on Netflix on April 12, 2024. As the name suggests, the film revolves around the life of the legendary singer Chamkila and how he rose to become a global sensation before being gunned down at the age of 27 in 1988. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film also stars Apinderdeep Singh, Rahul Mittra, Nisha Bano, Anjum Batra, Vipin Katyal, and Udaybir Sandhumore in some significant roles.
