Irrfan Khan Death anniversary: Irrfan Khan was one of the most accomplished star of the Indian film industry who has served with his impeccable power of acting throughout his prevailing eras of life in the industry, not just in Bollywood, but Hollywood too. His roles holds power. The highly acclaimed Indian actor who appeared in numerous Bollywood and Hollywood films passed away on April 29, 2020, leaving behind a legacy of outstanding performances that will be remembered forever. Now as the years pass by, even four years of his death, his evergreen legacy is being carried with pride and continuity by Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar, and sons, Babil Khan and Ayaan.

When Irrfan Khan talked about his hope to live

For the unversed, the global actor, Irrfan Khan lost his life while battling with neuroendocrine Cancer back on 29th April 2024. although with a few years of rigorous treatment, he made his way to the heavenly bodies at the age of 53. Now, Taking you back in 2020, it was during an interview with a renown media forum, that Khan has referred to the positive things he experienced throughout his Cancer treatment. As per the late actor, he talked about his sons and said "The best part is that I've had all the time literally to see them evolve," and described the growth of his younger son, Ayaan as "crucial" as he was just a teenager then, while Babil on the other hand wasn't a teenager anymore. 

Moving on with his chat, he remarked about his wife, Sutapa Sikdar who has always stood by his side, no matter what. "She has evolved in care-giving, and if I get to live, I want to live for her," Irrfan quipped. The star also remarked on all the beautiful things, they have shared as a family. "It’s been a roller-coaster ride, a memorable one. Happy moments were underlined because of the inherent uncertainty," he continued.

Irrfan Khan's filmy career is a long versatile list of films and characters both Bollywood and overseas. The late star has made his starry debut through the 1988 movie Salaam Bombay. ever since then, his most acclaimed films include The Lunchbox, Maqbool, Life of Pi, Talvar, Piku, Haider, Paan Singh Tomar, Slumdog Millionaire, Qarib Qarib Singlle, The Namesake and many others.
