Kangana Ranaut Calls Twinkle Khanna a 'Nepo Kid' Over Shocking Men-Polythene Bag Comparison!

In a recent altercation within the realm of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, renowned for her unabashed opinions, directed her scrutiny towards Twinkle Khanna, the wife of Akshay Kumar. Kangana, known for her bold and forthright demeanor, seldom shies away from addressing pertinent issues or personalities. This time, her target was Twinkle Khanna, who had previously equated men to polythene bags in a past statement.

Taking to her Instagram story, Kangana Ranaut shared an archival video clip featuring Twinkle Khanna wherein Twinkle had drawn a comparison between men and polythene bags. Kangana seized upon this opportunity to critique Twinkle sharply, denoting her as a 'nepo kid,' a term often associated with individuals who have benefited from familial connections within the industry.

In a subsequent post, Kangana Ranaut expressed her frustration towards Twinkle Khanna, questioning the privileged stance of individuals who casually liken their partners to disposable objects. She pondered aloud, "Who are these privileged people who refer to their men as polythene bags? Are they attempting to appear trendy?" Kangana's critique delved deeper into the concept of nepotism, highlighting how some individuals, born into privilege, fail to acknowledge their responsibilities or exhibit gratitude for the opportunities bestowed upon them.

The crux of the debate emanated from an earlier interview featuring Twinkle Khanna. During the interview, Twinkle was probed about her realization of feminism and equality. With her characteristic wit, Twinkle attributed her feminist perspective to her mother, Dimple Kapadia, who instilled such values during her upbringing. Twinkle reminisced, "We never delved into discussions about feminism or equality or the like. However, it was evident that women didn't require men."

Twinkle's analogy of men being akin to handbags, whether leather or plastic, sparked a broader conversation about gender roles and perceptions within society. While her remarks were laced with humor, they underscored a deeper societal construct wherein women are encouraged to assert independence and self-sufficiency.

Kangana's critique, on the other hand, brought to light the disconnect between privilege and accountability. She questioned whether individuals like Twinkle truly comprehend the essence of feminism and equality, or if they merely pay lip service to these ideals without embodying them in their actions.
