Karan Johar responds to backlash over alleged sabotage video with Cryptic Instagram Post

Karan Johar, a well-known filmmaker, has responded to recent backlash that emerged after an old video surfaced online. In the video, Johar allegedly admits to sabotaging Anushka Sharma's career. To address the allegations, Johar posted a cryptic message on his Instagram account on April 8th, 2023.

He stated that he is not one to succumb to negativity and false accusations. He wrote, "If you have accusations to make against me, know that I am not someone who will bow down. I will not become a slave to lies, and I will not fall even if you try to slander me and showcase me in a bad light. My goodness is my victory, and I will not die even if you come at me with swords."

The video in question has caused outrage among netizens, with some accusing Johar of being responsible for the career setbacks of various actors. In fact, actor Priyanka Chopra recently spoke about leaving Bollywood due to feeling cornered, which led some people to point fingers at Johar, although she did not mention him by name.

Despite the backlash, Johar is currently focusing on his work as a director. He recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film, "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani," which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
