Living Together Before Marriage

Contrary to traditional norms, Kareena and Saif chose to live together for five years before deciding to get married. In the interview, Kareena explained that their decision to marry was primarily driven by the desire to start a family. She emphasized that in today's times, couples can choose to live together without the need for marriage, but for them, marriage has become a step towards parenthood.

Parenting Philosophy

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared her perspective on parenting, emphasizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. According to her, there is "no right or wrong way" to raise children. Instead, she believes in leading by example and living life to the fullest in front of her kids. Kareena expressed her commitment to creating a happy environment for her children, stating, "We have to be happy, then they will flourish. I'm responsible for my own mental health first."

The couple welcomed their first child, Taimur, in 2016, four years after their wedding. Recently, in 2021, they embraced parenthood again with the birth of their second son, Jeh. Kareena's approach to parenting revolves around fostering a positive atmosphere for her children to thrive.
