In modern-day Bollywood, if there's any actress that has taken the Bollywood forefront in the global recognition then it has to be the Padmaavat actress, Deepika Padukone. DP is currently basking high both in her personal and professional front, as she has films like Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again under her sleeves, on the other hand, the fine actress seems all set to embrace her new phase of life, motherhood as she is expecting to welcome her first child with Ranveer Singh in September 2024.
Professionally, it is Deepika's role in the upcoming Rohit Shetty film that is making people bate their breath more than anybody else. The respective film, Singham Again will also mark Deepika's official entry into the cop universe created by Rohit Shetty in the intriguing character of Shakti Shetty. Recently, some fresh set of pictures has made it's way through the socials where the global icon could be seen striking a smiling pose with her co-artists in the film and also received a surprise gift in the form of a portrait sketch from them.
Recently, an artist from the Singham again movie has taken over her Instagram handle to share some enthralling moments shared on the sets of the Rohit Shetty film. Striking an adorable pose with the Lady Singham, the user wrote, "The Only Lady Singham. Glad to meet you mam. One of the best days of my life. Felt soo lucky to work with you, still remember the day you smiled at me and the way you appreciated and became happy after seeing the sketch. I pray that we meet many more times in future..... Meanwhile, Singham Again is the fifth installment of the cop universe created by Rohit Shetty. The earlier films of its kind include - Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Earlier the filmmaker also introduced Deepika Padukone who will be joining the cop universe along with her husband Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. The film will feature Deepika Padukone as Shakti Singham. Apart from Deepika, the film will also bring Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Avni Singham. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the story is penned by Shantanu Srivastava, Kshitij Patwardhan, Yunus Sajawal, Milap Zaveri, Abhijeet Khuman, Sandeep and Anusha. Notably, the film is all set to release in the next half of the year 2024.
