Mr. & Mrs. Mahi scores Rs. 24 crores as it completes seven days in theatres
Over the long period, Bollywood sports drama, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has been one of the most buzzing films of the year 2024. Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, the film was released globally on March 31, 2024. As the film has taken off its first week quite decently, the numbers at the box office are however meager as compared to the hype it has created. Yet, the promising sports drama takes the viewers through an enthralling journey of a newly married couple who longs to fulfill their dream of playing Cricket by being at each other's back.
Moving through its first week, the Sharan Sharma directorial has garnered a decent box office collection where it netted around Rs 24 crores. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, on its 7th day, the film has earned Rs. 1.75 crore. Released on May 31, the film took off with the highest of expectations initially on the cinema lover's day but it continued to sustain through theatres measurably low levels throughout the weekdays.
Meanwhile, the film is currently facing pretty stiff competition with Munjya and Bad Boys 4, both released on 7th June. Now it will be interesting to notice what the coming weekend will bring to the fates of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi in the commercial realm. But, for the unversed, Sharan Sharma has roped off numerous people on Cinema Lover's Day in the theatres for its promising storyline of a husband and a wife.
