'OMG 2' Trailer: Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi Bring An Epic Tale of Devotion and Justice
'OMG 2' Trailer: 'OMG 2', the eagerly anticipated sequel of the year, is scheduled to premiere on August 11 and has fans giddy with anticipation. Thanks to its stellar cast and captivating plot, this sequel is anticipated to be another blockbuster after the enormous success of its 2012 predecessor.
Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar plays the messenger of Lord Shiva in the upcoming movie, while Pankaj Tripathi, who is incredibly skilled, plays his devoted disciple. The endearing Yami Gautam Dhar appears alongside them on screen, contributing yet another level of genius to the film.
With the release of the teaser and two songs from the music album, fans have been itching to see more of the movie. Viewers were in awe when the official trailer was revealed, rewarding their expectations. It's interesting to note that the trailer suggests a minor change from the original film; whereas Akshay Kumar played Lord Krishna in that film, he seems to be playing a celestial messenger this time around. Rumor has it that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) may have pushed for this modification in order to steer clear of any possible controversy.
The film centers on a courtroom drama as Pankaj Tripathi's character fights for justice for both himself and his son, much like its predecessor. Fans have praised Tripathi's acting abilities and are excited to see his gripping representation on the big screen, drawing comparisons with Paresh Rawal's potent performance in the last film.
Following the release of the trailer, fans showered the comment section with love and appreciation for the film's compelling premise and lead actors. A lot of people were happy to witness Akshay Kumar in the holy role of Lord Shiva and praised his commitment to the part. A supporter declared, "I never imagined Akshay Kumar could play Lord Shiva this beautifully. He has devotion and passion for this part.
OMG 2 received an 'A' (Adult) certificate and minor adjustments along with the CBFC's stamp of approval. The board asked that images depicting frontal nudity be taken down, that images of "sculptures of unnatural sex" be altered and that allusions to actual locations, like Ujjain, be left out. The creators were also requested to take down a banner that promoted condoms.
Arun Govil and Govind Namdev are among the film's outstanding cast, which also stars Yami Gautam, Akshay Kumar, and Pankaj Tripathi. Together, they guarantee an engaging cinematic experience for the spectator.
OMG 2 is helmed by Amit Rai and is slated to be released on August 11.
