Priyanka Chopra hugs Karan Johar at NMACC event, After bashing Bollywood in a Podcast

The launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai was nothing short of a grand spectacle, with Bollywood stars and global celebrities alike flocking to the event. Among them was the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra, who arrived with her husband, the musician Nick Jonas.

In a recent video that has gone viral on the internet, Priyanka can be seen warmly greeting filmmaker Karan Johar, one of the most prominent names in the Indian film industry. This gesture of warmth comes just days after Priyanka spoke out about the bullying she faced in Bollywood and her decision to pursue a career abroad. Interestingly, Kangana Ranaut had accused Karan Johar of banning Priyanka from working with him.

The video captures Priyanka and Nick mingling with the likes of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar at the event. It's heartening to see Priyanka and Karan put aside any past animosity and share a warm hug and conversation while holding hands. Karan even takes the time to chat with Nick, and the trio appears to be enjoying each other's company. Priyanka's infectious laughter can be heard ringing out as they talk.

Priyanka looked stunning in a sheer beige gown with a matching cape, while Nick looked dashing in a black suit. This was their first trip to India with their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and Priyanka's mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, accompanied them on the trip.

In a recent interview with Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka opened up about the difficulties she faced in the Bollywood industry, including being sidelined and experiencing conflicts with others. She revealed that she had grown tired of the politics of the industry and wanted a break. Music offered her an opportunity to explore a new world and not have to engage in the kind of schmoozing that was required in the film industry.

Overall, Priyanka and Nick's appearance at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre launch was a delightful affair, filled with warmth, laughter, and a renewed sense of camaraderie.
