Rajkumar Rao starrer 'Bheed' teaser out; shows dark past of Covid-19 pandemic
Rajkumar Rao news: The makers have dropped the teaser of the much-awaited movie ‘Bheed’ which stars Rajkumar Rao, and Bhumi Pednekar. The teaser
introduces the characters of the upcoming movie which revolves around the
Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

Rajkumar Rao took to his Instagram handle and shared the
teaser video. Talking about the video, it shows the struggles faced by the
needy during the lockdown in 2020. After sharing the teaser, he wrote about a crisis that created borders within the
country and its people.
The teaser begins with how migrant workers
travelled in crowded trains, and buses and some even tried to go on foot to reach
their hometowns as the government advisories were such at that time.
Further, Rajkumar’s voice is heard in the background which
said that they went to the city because they had no work in the village, and they
had come back because there was no work in the city. Lastly, he said that there
have never been arrangements for the poor.
The video shows glimpses of Kritika Kamra who is playing a
journalist in the movie, and Ashutosh Rana will be seen playing a police officer.
Furthermore, Bhumi Pednekar will be seen playing a medical professional. Lastly,
the teaser grabbed the viewer's attention till the end as the video was
appealing and relatable for some.
In addition to this, the movie ‘Bheed’ is directed by
Anubhav Sinha and stars Rajkumar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Dia
Mirza, Kritika Kamra and Pankaj Kapur. The movie shows the lockdown phase and the
1947 partition and the storyline talks about how the lives of the people
changed during the lockdown and partition period. The movie will hit the theatres on March 24th, 2023.
