A team from the Crime Branch conducted the arrests, and the accused are being transported to Mumbai for further legal proceedings. Meanwhile, a Mumbai court has extended the police custody of two other individuals, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), until April 29. It's believed that the two suspects were getting orders from the Bishnoi brothers. The Mumbai police have named Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi as wanted criminals in relation to the shooting. Just before the shooting happened, Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for it in a Facebook post. The police traced the location of the post to Portugal.

The Facebook account under Anmol's name was made using a phone number from another country, according to the police.
