Now after a whopping gap of 6 years, the makers are all set to bring the intriguing horror film among its bated fandom this year. The makers of the highly anticipated film have earlier teased fans with its first teaser and now finally came up with the official trailer and left everybody in absolute awe.
On July 18, 2024, the makers of Stree unveiled the most awaited trailer for its sequel, promising yet another enthralling journey of horror and comedy. Directed by Amar Koushik, Stree 2 is the sequel of its blockbuster franchise that first came in 2018. The upcoming film will take off from exactly where it left off and will bring a new ghoul, 'Sarkate', a Sleepy Hollow-type headless creature who rides around on a horse and takes away girls of the village to his terrifying realm. Hence, the film's major characters, Vicky, Jana, and Bittu bound to summon Shraddha Kapoor's character back to their world to escape the evil power.
With plenty of visual effects, twists, turns, and comedy, the upcoming sequel surely promises to tickle your fear once again. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan as well as Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film will rope off the actors of its first part reprising their enigmatic roles featuring actors like Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Shraddha Kapoor. Meanwhile, the enthralling horror comedy is all set to release in the theatres on August 15, 2024.
