'Thank You For Coming' trailer out; Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila starrer movie to change the course of women in Indian cinema?
As the hype was getting buzzed in with each passing day, 'Thank You For Coming' was on a hitlist among the Indian audience ever since the makers and the lead actors started sharing glitz and glam of the movie on their social media platforms. Helmed by Karan Boolani, 'Thank You For Coming' is a all female lead movie with a steller ensemble of casts. With the posters being released previously on Internet, the makers as well as Bhumi Pednekar have taken over the storm on Wednesday to share the trailer of the movie among the most eagerly awaited fanatics.

All female led starrer movie, 'Thank You For Coming' is a upcoming comedy drama which will bring together a long list of stars that includes Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, ShibBedi, Gautmik, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Dolly Ahluwalia, Sushant Divgikar and Saloni Daini along with Anil Kapoor and Karan Kundrra in a short cameo appearance. As the Two and a half minute long trailer made it's way on the waves of Internet, the movie feels to bring evolution in the course of Woman in India cinema. All in all, as per the trailer, the movie promises a wonderful joyride among the viewers.
About 'Thank You For Coming'
Bhumi Pednekar while sharing the trailer of the movie on her Instagram handle wrote, "is Rajkumari ki Fairy Tale hai sabse hatke! Don’t forget to come to Cinemas to watch #ThankYouForComing on 6th October 2023." The starry looking movie will revolve around five girlfriends where Bhumi Pednekar will lead the character named Kanika Kapoor, who was introduced during the trailer. Kanika is a woman in the thirties who struggles in her life, full of chaos and confusion. With four of her best pals, the movie will delve deeper into the topics of love, friendship, sex and pleasure. The unabashed looking ensemble will showcase the relatability of 'not so talked' topics of life such as female orgasm and sex toys and thus surely has the probability of changing the course of woman representation in the Indian cinema. Rhea Kapoor on the movie
Directed by Karan Boolani, the movie is backed by Rhea Kapoor along with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures. Rhea Kapoor during one of her interview stated her feelings on the movie and said "I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by incredible women throughout my life, and I’m extremely proud to have directed this film. As a man, Thank you for coming has taught me so much about the female experience around desire, love and acceptance. I hope that the audiences have as much fun watching the film as we had making it." Meanwhile 'Thank you For Coming' is all set to have it's theatrical release on October 6, 2023.
