Varun Dhawan is all set to reunite with father David Dhawan for his upcoming entertainer; Shoot to begin in April 2024!

Bollywood's iconic father-son duo David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan are known for giving some of the most comical entertainer to the Hindi film fanatics. Previously both of them worked together in the movies like Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2 and Coolie No. 1 which have seen a great response from the overall audience. Recently, a fresh news has surfaced around the entertainment industry regarding their upcoming reunion which will mark Varun and David's fourth reunion in the Bollywood realm.

Previously few slices of their upcoming movie was slatting through the media that the script is still under development and the makers were intending to kick off the shooting procedures from the beginning of 2024. However, a close source of the production has revealed that their next comic entertainer is all set to begin their shoot from April 2024. "David Dhawan has been exploring several ideas over the last few years and has finally got one that warrants a full-fledged theatrical outing for the families. Much like David Dhawan’s world of comedies, this one too will see a Varun Dhawan alongside two leading ladies. The humor of this yet untitled comic caper is a result of confusion in the love life of the protagonist. Varun is very excited too to revisit the comic space after a while," the source revealed.

A seasoned comic entertainer

As per the further revelation, the movie will be produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner of TIPS Entertainment and with it's kickstart in April, it will be bought to the audience wither by the end of 2024 or by the first half of 2025. "It’s a big-scale comic entertainer that will be shot at multiple real-life locations in India and Abroad. The casting for the female leads is underway and the makers are all looking to sign two A-Listers on board the project. The 3 protagonists aside, some of the most seasoned comic artists of Hindi Cinema will also be a part of the ensemble cast," the source continued. 

Varun Dhawan's Work Front

Varun Dhawan is currently very excited to turn his shoes towards comic caper under his dad's directorial. Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy holding on schedules for VD 18, and he will give his Dad's film a kickstart after he wraps up shoot for the current film.  VD 18 is a action thriller that is produced by Murad Khetani and Atlee and is slatted to get release by May, 2024.
