Popular Bollywood actor Vidya Balan recently filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police, reporting an unknown individual who created a fraudulent Instagram account using her name. The imposter requested money from unsuspecting individuals, promising them job opportunities. According to Mumbai Police, the culprit not only created a fake Instagram account but also set up a corresponding Gmail account. Using these fake accounts, the individual reached out to people associated with Bollywood, falsely guaranteeing job opportunities in exchange for money. The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 66 (C) of the Information Technology Act.
