Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar who is also referred to as 'Khiladi of Bollywood' is celebrating his 56th birthday today. The actor was spotted at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district, along with his son Aarav and other family members to seek the blessings of the Almighty. Now, the actor has delighted his fans with the announcement of his upcoming movie 'Welcome 3'.

Yes, you read that correctly. Akshay Kumar's classic comedy 'Welcome' is making a comeback with its third installment as announced by the makers.

The occasion was made even more significant as he took part in the famous 'Bhasma Aarti' ritual at the temple.

The ensemble cast includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma. Adding to the charm are the talented actresses Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, and the young and dynamic Vrihi Kodvara.

The star-studded film is sure to triple the excitement and entertainment that would come along with the family drama. The film is being helmed by Ahmed Khan and is written by Farhad Samji

Meanwhile, prior to his birthday, Akshay also unveiled the trailer of 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue,' which is set to release on October 6. The film is based on the true story of the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India's first successful coal mine rescue mission.
