This decision was made by Balaji Motion Pictures, the production company, after receiving advice during the certification process regarding potential conflicts with Indian election laws.
The movie delves into the incident that occurred 22 years ago, exploring previously undisclosed details. Vikrant Massey portrays the character of Samar Kumar, a Hindi journalist, who, along with his colleague played by Raashii Khanna and a senior anchor, portrayed by Ridhi Dogra, embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind the Godhra incident. They believe it to be an attack on pilgrims rather than an accident. However, their quest for truth is met with challenges as they face attacks and scrutiny from their superiors.
