DIVYA DUTTA GETS CANDID AT KHUSHWANT SINGH LITERARY FESTIVAL

Divya Dutta is one such actress who despite of her Punjabi origins is better known for her distinguished career in Hindi film Industry. Even though she has done quite a few memorable films in Punjabi film industry, Divya Dutta hasn’t done many Punjabi films in recent past.

Recently at the Khushwant Singh Lit Festival in Kasauli, Divya Dutta opened up about her future endeavours both in both Hindi as well as Punjabi Film Industry.

Khushwant Singh Literary Festival event which is held every year in Kasauli supports learning through stories, through books and real life experiences. Not just that, KSLF is supports the cause of rights of girl child and ecology of Kasauli.

Divya Dutta attended the event out of her busy schedule and spoke to PTC about her experiences with Khushwant Singh and her recently launched book ‘Me and Ma’ wherein she has penned down her entire life experiences with her mother right from the age 3. Divya Dutta who lost her mother in January 2017 was very close her mother and said that writing about her mother’s death was the most difficult task.

 

Talking about her future endeavours, Divya Dutta said that she would be seen along with Anil Kapoor soon in an untitled movie and apart from that she’ll seen with Irfaan Khan in ‘Raita’. Responding to a query about her limited presence in Punjabi films, Divya Dutta said that she’ll be seen a Punjabi film soon and always waits for a good script.

Shatrughan Sinha, who was also at the event talked about his memories with Khushwant Singh and his family in a brief discussion with PTC. Shatrughan Sinha said that he will always cherish the moments he spent with legendry writer.
