Happy Birthday Neeru Bajwa: Here’s Her Success Journey From A TV Actress To Pollywood Diva

Neeru Bajwa is one such actress of the Punjabi film industry who needs no introduction. The Canada born actress is celebrating her 39^th birthday today on August 26. Neeru stepped into entertainment industry in 1998. Her first movie is ‘Main Solah Baras Ki’ starring Dev Anand.

Neeru Bajwa entered the Punjabi film industry in 2004 with the film ‘Asa Nu Maan Watan Da’. Although, the Punjabi song ‘Kainthey Wala’ by Kamal Heer marked as the major turning point in her career.

She paved her way up from being a Hindi film actress and a daily soap opera actress, to be the ultimate diva of the Punjabi film industry.

She rose to fame with Jatt & Juliet. Released in 2012, film became a massive blockbuster and won multiple awards at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2013 including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.

‘Jatt & Juliet 2’, ‘Jihne Mera Dil Luteya’, and ‘Mel Karada Rabba’ are some of her hit Punjabi films. So far, she has won 3 Best Actress Awards and 2 Best Actress (Critics) Award At PTC Punjabi Film Awards.

Currently on the workfront she is riding high on the success of her recently released film ‘Shadaa’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
