Jasleen Royal Speaks About Her Journey Through 'Hichki' on PTC Punjabi

The One Woman Band, Jasleen Kaur Royal recently speaks about her big solo album during an interview with PTC Punjabi. This talented Punjabi singer says it was a challenging film and a great deal for her to compose songs for the entire film. The brief for every song was different which took her a year to compose. She already has scored some of the popular numbers from the music industry.

Jasleen Kaur Royal, commonly known as Jasleen Royal, got popular from India’s Got Talent show in 2009. The independent Indian singer, songwriter and music composer has no formal training in music and is majorly self-taught.

The famous Punjabi singer was just 18 years of age when she qualified as one of the semi-finalists in the first season of this show. She was able to blow everyone’s mind with her ability to play multiple instruments at the same time. The judges titled her ‘One Woman Band’ as she happens to play the guitar, mouth organ, and a tambourine while singing.

When asked by the host that does she get special attention from her family mates now, do they treat her as a celebrity, Jasleen quotes her opinion as they are the same. She thinks that your parents never change, which is also important otherwise you might lose your perspective. According to her, if your parents start giving you importance, you might feel lost. She says, her friends still trouble and irritate her and don't treat her special as a celebrity.

Hichki might not be the finest album of the music industry but this Ludhiana girl deserves praise for putting up together seven listenable songs in a single movie.
