Latest Pic From Akshay Kumar’s Film Kesari Will Raise Your Excitement Level
Bollywood’s fittest action hero, Akshay Kumar is all geared up for the release of his most awaited film ‘Kesari’. The film is releasing on March 21. To raise the excitement level among his fans, Akshay shared a latest pic from the sets of the film.
Akshay is portraying the character of Havildar Ishar Singh in the film ‘Kesari’ which is based on the epic Battle of Saragarhi fought in 1897.
In September 1897, 21 soldiers of Sikh regiment, under the leadership of Havildar Ishar Singh, fought for several hours against 10,000 Afghan tribesmen.
On the occasion of India’s 70th Republic Day, Akshay shared a picture on his official Instagram handle to wish the countrymen. He captioned the image as: “Happy Republic Day. It’s our #70thRepublicDay but our men have been fighting for the country since time unknown. 122 years ago, 21 Sikhs fought against 10000 invaders. #KESARI is their story, in cinemas on March 21.”
In the film, Akshay will be seen wearing a heavy turban a sporting long beard. Actress Parineeti Chopra is playing the love interest of Akshay Kumar in the film.
Anurag Singh has directed the film.
